The law is intended to create new opportunities for foreign skilled workers to enter Germany to work or complete vocational training. In this way, the federal government aims to address the shortage of skilled workers in many industries. The Federal Ministry of the Interior and Homeland Affairs and the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs have submitted a corresponding draft bill.
