Short videos

The state seal recognizes companies that are sustainably committed to good working conditions and meet the minimum standards of good work. Since the procedure was introduced, 317 companies in Saxony-Anhalt have already used the Werteetz© analysis tool to record the values of their employees and managers and compare them with the reality of the company. This year's award brings the total number of state seals awarded to date to 190, including numerous care companies, which account for around 24 percent of all award winners - i.e. almost one in four companies.

The 34 current award winners come from a wide variety of regions in the state, including ten care companies that make an important contribution to ensuring the quality of care in Saxony-Anhalt with their commitment to good working conditions.

The state seal "The employee-oriented company - I feel good here" has been awarded by the Saxony-Anhalt Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health and Equality for six years now. It is awarded exclusively to companies in Saxony-Anhalt that have an outstanding corporate culture and have established themselves as extremely attractive employers. Employee orientation is an important factor for employee satisfaction and motivation. The following videos impressively demonstrate the many ways in which this can be implemented.

As part of the Goethe-Institut's virtual tour of Germany to Saxony-Anhalt on 10.04.2024, our colleagues presented their work at the WelcomeCenter Saxony-Anhalt and showcased our federal state together with regional stakeholders. Our newly produced video was also premiered at this event with participants from 64 countries.

For the fifth time, the Minister for Labor, Social Affairs, Health and Equality of Saxony-Anhalt, Petra Grimm-Benne, has awarded the state seal "The employee-oriented company - I feel good here". Companies in Saxony-Anhalt that focus on a good corporate culture and have established themselves as an attractive employer are awarded the state seal. Employee orientation creates satisfaction and motivation among employees. The following videos show some of the many ways in which this can be implemented.

Together with the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health and Equality, the state initiative Fachkraft im Fokus honors companies from Saxony-Anhalt for their employee orientation. We visited eight of the award-winning companies and recorded in videos what they consider to be aspects of good work.

The Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health and Equal Opportunities, together with the state initiative Fachkraft im Fokus, honors a total of 18 companies from Saxony-Anhalt for their commitment to attractive working conditions. Together with the companies, videos were created that clearly show which aspects are part of "good work". The state initiative Fachkraft im Fokus supports companies, skilled workers working here as well as incoming and returning skilled workers from Germany and abroad and their families. With the WelcomeCenter Saxony-Anhalt, the state wants to make it easier for people interested in moving to Saxony-Anhalt to arrive in their old home or new home and to support companies that want to employ skilled workers from abroad in their operational and social integration. The shortage of skilled workers is particularly pronounced in the care professions. However, there is now not only a shortage of skilled workers in care facilities, but also a shortage of assistants. For this reason, the state of Saxony-Anhalt, under the leadership of the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Integration, has launched the #PerspektivePflege initiative. (as of 07.07.2021)
