The WelcomeCenter Saxony-Anhalt invites you to an online seminar titled “Dealing with Prejudice and Everyday Racism” on May 21, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. The event will be led by Leadership & Diversity Trainer Gabriele Maria Gerlach.
Where does everyday racism begin? How do prejudices arise, and how can they be broken down? What are typical dilemma situations when working with immigrants, and what options for action are available?
In addition to a brief theoretical overview, this online seminar focuses primarily on practical applications. Participants will be provided with communication methods for dealing with prejudice. Furthermore, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and present specific case studies, which can be discussed and evaluated together.
The target audience for this online seminar is full-time and volunteer staff who support and advise immigrants in Saxony-Anhalt or who work in the broader field of migration services.
