RKW Sachsen-Anhalt GmbH is looking to fill the new position of Head of the WelcomeCenter Saxony-Anhalt in the state initiative "Focus on Skilled Workers" as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
Management of the WelcomeCenter Saxony-Anhalt
Management of tasks in the WelcomeCenter team based on management decisions and concepts:
- Internally: Management of the WelcomeCenter's growing team
- Externally: Representing the WelcomeCenter at external events
- Planning, preparation, and implementation of team coordination and follow-up, monitoring compliance with agreed specifications
- Independent coordination with network partners and integration of agreements made into the WelcomeCenter's work process
- Developing and taking responsibility for your own contributions to public relations work
- Independently developing presentations for events/company presentations
- Ensuring reporting obligations to the project management and the client, as well as the quality of implementation
- Coordinating and monitoring deadlines and checking milestones, including necessary process adjustments in line with current conditions
- Regional and supraregional cooperation to gain and disseminate knowledge
Ensuring that project objectives are met in the required quality and quantity
- Ongoing monitoring of the quantitative and qualitative indicators of the WelcomeCenter
- Ensuring the necessary documentation and timely reporting to the client
- Training and, if necessary, organizing the qualification of employees
Ensuring and initiating the necessary internal communication in the WelcomeCenter in cooperation with U-Consulting and FK-Consulting
Networking at management level
- Ensuring and establishing contacts that promote the project
- Approaching and involving additional partners in the project's activities
- Maintaining contact with institutions and regional multipliers in the context of securing skilled workers
Implementing cooperation at the federal level in the context of coordination tasks and activities
Regional and supraregional cooperation (as part of management tasks)
Participation in the nationwide WelcomeCenter network (including Make it in Germany)
- Preparatory work in accordance with requirements (e.g., for the creation of generally applicable recommendations for action, etc.)
- Exchange meetings of the steering group (2-3 times a year) to coordinate and plan further activities
- Greater use of structures (network moderators, materials, contacts, information) and implementation of relevant content in Saxony-Anhalt
Coordination and cooperation with relevant actors at the municipal level
- Expansion and implementation of a permanent structure for newcomers, contact with municipal institutions for families (e.g., youth welfare offices, school authorities, regional alliances for families, housing providers) as well as with mayors and district administrators. The focus here is on:
- Identifying contact persons for all relevant issues affecting newcomers (social contacts, leisure activities, jobs, housing, volunteer work) and forwarding the contacts to the internal interfaces and vice versa with the aim of pooling information
- Anchoring regional actors on the WCST website
- Anchoring the state initiative "Fachkraft im Fokus" (Focus on Skilled Workers) on the websites of the municipalities with the WelcomeCenter's services
- Forwarding information about relevant innovations/changes from the municipalities to the WCST
- Participation in returnee days to attract skilled workers who have moved away and their families
- Deepening cooperation with the state's universities, especially student advisory services and career services
Analysis and initiation of measures
- Problem-oriented network design within the framework of pilot counseling (e.g., by involving partners, decision-makers)
- Management of activities and support for companies in recruiting skilled workers and designing family-friendly policies, taking into account the findings and results from the specialist departments
- Raising awareness and advising internal structures (U and FK advisors)
Professionalization of support services for companies on family-friendly topics in the context of employer attractiveness
Requirements
- Independent, topic- and process-oriented work
- Ensuring that the project's target groups, including company management, are addressed in a manner appropriate to the task and developing needs-based solution strategies and concepts
- Organization of a pilot process with expert involvement
Applicants with a university degree (master's/diploma) or other proven qualifications and experience that can be equated with a university degree.
- Several years of professional experience (otherwise, expertise must be demonstrated in other ways)
- Good communication skills, networking and problem-solving skills
- extensive knowledge and skills in the use of modern communication technology,
- Good command of written and spoken English, and
- Strong social and professional intercultural skills
