On Thursday, October 12, 2023, a networking and information event on the topic of recruiting and retaining skilled workers took place in Weißenfels. It was organized by Strukturentwicklungs- und Wirtschaftsfördergesellschaft Burgenlandkreis mbH, the Employment Agency, and the City of Weißenfels, and was aimed at companies seeking to explore new opportunities for securing a skilled workforce.
The WelcomeCenter Saxony-Anhalt participated with a presentation on recruiting and retaining skilled workers from abroad. Specifically, the presentation focused on the factors contributing to the successful entry and integration of foreign skilled workers into Saxony-Anhalt. In the second part of the event, representatives from participating companies were able to learn about support services offered by various institutions and projects at information booths. The WelcomeCenter Saxony-Anhalt was represented with an information booth and held discussions with companies from various industries, including IT, healthcare, and logistics.
