As part of the H2HUB project in Saxony-Anhalt, an event was held today that offered companies in the region comprehensive insight into the current funding opportunities for continuing education and personnel development. The event, which was held at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Köthen, aimed to inform companies, self-employed persons, and freelancers about the guidelines for the "Saxony-Anhalt CONTINUING EDUCATION" funding program and to emphasize the importance of targeted continuing education programs for securing skilled workers.

An important part of the event was the presentation of the opportunities by our regional advisor André Gottschalk. The presentation focused on funding for continuing education measures supported by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and the state of Saxony-Anhalt. This funding aims to strengthen the professional qualifications of employees, enable self-employed people and entrepreneurs to implement future-oriented personnel strategies, and thereby sustainably increase the competitiveness of companies in the region. The state initiative "Fachkraft im Fokus" (Focus on Skilled Workers) has made its own leaflet available for download to present the state funding program "Sachsen-Anhalt WEITERBILDUNG."
H2HUB Saxony-Anhalt: A platform for knowledge transfer and continuing education
The H2HUB project in Saxony-Anhalt is a central platform for knowledge transfer and professional continuing education in the field of hydrogen technology. As a learning alliance, H2HUB brings together renowned institutions such as the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy Systems IWES, Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, Merseburg University of Applied Sciences, and Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. Together, these partners develop and implement interdisciplinary continuing education programs that are specifically tailored to the needs of students, specialists, and managers from the energy sector and industry in central Germany.
The project is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection on the basis of a resolution passed by the German Bundestag. H2HUB Saxony-Anhalt is thus sending a strong signal for the future of the energy sector and securing skilled workers in the region.
