As part of the H2HUB project in Saxony-Anhalt, an event was held today that offered companies in the region a comprehensive insight into the current funding opportunities for further education and personnel development. The event, which was held at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Köthen, aimed to inform companies, the self-employed and freelancers about the guidelines for the "Saxony-Anhalt WEITERBILDUNG" funding programme and to underline the importance of targeted further training opportunities for securing skilled workers.
Presentation of the state funding programme by André Gottschalk
An important item on the programme of the event was the presentation of opportunities by our regional consultant André Gottschalk. The presentation focussed on the promotion of further training measures supported by funds from the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and the state of Saxony-Anhalt. The aim of this funding is to strengthen the professional qualifications of employees, enable self-employed people and entrepreneurs to develop future-oriented HR strategies and thus sustainably increase the competitiveness of companies in the region. The state initiative Fachkraft im Fokus has made a separate leaflet available for download to present the state funding programme "Saxony-Anhalt WEITERBILDUNG".
H2HUB Saxony-Anhalt: A platform for knowledge transfer and further training
The H2HUB project in Saxony-Anhalt is a central platform for knowledge transfer and professional development in the field of hydrogen technology. As a learning alliance, the H2HUB brings together renowned institutions such as the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy Systems IWES, Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, Merseburg University of Applied Sciences and Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg. Together, these partners are developing and implementing interdisciplinary further education programmes that are specifically tailored to the needs of students, specialists and managers from the energy sector and industry in Central Germany.
The project is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection on the basis of a decision by the German Bundestag. H2HUB Saxony-Anhalt is thus sending a strong signal for the future of the energy sector and for securing skilled labour in the region.
