Freyburg (Unstrut) – Weinberghotel Edelacker GmbH has been awarded the Saxony-Anhalt state seal of approval “The Employee-Oriented Company – I Feel at Home Here” for the fifth time. The award recognizes companies that go above and beyond to promote good working conditions and a culture of mutual respect.
The award was based on a comprehensive employee survey conducted using the Wertenetz© methodology. In the survey, employees were able to assess both the personal significance of key workplace values and how well those values are actually implemented within the company. With a total score of 32.7 out of a possible 40 points (81.75 %), the Weinberghotel Edelacker performed exceptionally well and met the requirements for the state seal.
Participation in the survey was high: 76 percent of employees took part. This strong engagement underscores the workforce’s identification with the company and ensures a robust data foundation.
Overall, the results paint a very positive picture: in particular, the survey highlighted the employees’ fundamental satisfaction as well as the alignment between their expectations and the company’s actual practices. At the same time, the analysis provides valuable insights into further areas for development—such as individual support, the refinement of work processes, and the strengthening of internal communication.
With this state certification, the Weinberghotel Edelacker has once again established itself as an attractive employer in the region and sent a strong signal regarding employee-centricity, appreciation, and sustainability.
The certificate was ceremonially presented on site by Peter Breier, regional advisor for the state initiative “Fachkraft im Fokus,” to Ms. Engel, director of the Weinberghotel Edelacker. Among the guests at the event were also the mayor of Freyburg (Unstrut), Mr. Mänicke, and the managing director of Saale-Unstrut Tourismus GmbH, Ms. Peiser, who congratulated the hotel on this special award. Saale-Unstrut Tourismus GmbH was also awarded the state seal in 2025.
