34 companies honored – Review of the 2025 seal award ceremony

Employers in Saxony-Anhalt demonstrate how to successfully implement employee orientation

On April 24, 2025, a total of 34 companies from Saxony-Anhalt gathered at the Dessau Golf Park to receive a special award: the state seal "Employee-oriented company – I feel at home here." Together with Petra Grimm-Benne, Minister of Labor, Social Affairs, Health, and Equality, the state initiative Fachkraft im Fokus (Focus on Skilled Workers) recognized their commitment to attractive working conditions and a value-based corporate culture.

The seal recognizes companies that are committed to attractive working conditions and focus on values such as transparency, co-determination, and work-life balance. Particularly impressive: 24% of the award winners come from the care sector – a strong sign for the future and the quality of working conditions in this important area.

"With the state seal, we have been sending a visible signal for good work in the state since 2018. Employee-oriented human resources policy is a key success factor – regardless of company size or industry. Fair and appreciative working conditions are particularly important in the competition for skilled workers. I would like to thank all companies that contribute to strengthening Saxony-Anhalt as an attractive place to work," emphasized Minister Petra Grimm-Benne in her speech. Her words underscore the importance of the state seal and the role of the award-winning companies in shaping a sustainable working environment.

Since the introduction of the Wertenetz© process in 2018, more than 317 companies in Saxony-Anhalt have surveyed their employees to compare the corporate culture they experience with the expectations of the workforce. Since then, 190 companies have been awarded the state seal – a milestone for value-oriented action in the world of work.

But the evening offered much more than just awards: the premiere of three inspiring videos provided insights into the practices of the award-winning companies. These show how innovative approaches can strengthen an employee-friendly corporate culture.

This year's award winners also shared their impressions. The Magdeburg Education Center, which received the award for the fourth time, summed it up aptly in a post on Instagram: "Good work must also feel like good work – in a peaceful, free Saxony-Anhalt, where we shape the future together."

You can find all the photos from the evening in our media library. Many of the companies took the opportunity to have their picture taken at our popular selfie wall – maybe you'll even spot yourself or some familiar faces!

We congratulate all seal holders on this outstanding achievement and thank everyone involved for an inspiring evening! You can also get an insight into the event in the MDR SACHSEN-ANHALT HEUTE television report from April 24 in the media library (from minute 7:23 to 10:35).
