A total of 34 companies from Saxony-Anhalt came together at the Dessau Golf Park on 24 April 2025 to receive a special award: the state seal of approval "Employee-oriented company - I feel good here". Together with Petra Grimm-Benne, Minister for Labour, Social Affairs, Health and Equality, the state initiative Fachkraft im Fokus honoured their commitment to attractive working conditions and a value-based corporate culture.
The seal recognises companies that make a sustained commitment to attractive working conditions and focus on values such as transparency, co-determination and work-life balance. Particularly impressive: 24% of the award winners come from the care sector - a strong sign for the future and the quality of working conditions in this important area.
"With the state seal, we have been sending a visible signal for good work in the state since 2018. Employee-orientated HR policy is a key success factor - regardless of company size or sector. Fair and respectful working conditions are particularly important in the competition for skilled labour. I would like to thank all companies that contribute to strengthening Saxony-Anhalt as an attractive place to work," emphasised Minister Petra Grimm-Benne in her speech. Her words emphasise the importance of the state seal and the role of the award-winning companies in shaping a sustainable working environment.
Since the introduction of the Werteetz© process in 2018, over 317 companies in Saxony-Anhalt have surveyed their employees in order to compare their corporate culture with the expectations of their workforce. Since then, 190 companies have been awarded the state seal - a milestone for value-orientated action in the world of work.
But the evening offered far more than just awards: The premiere of three inspiring videos provided insights into the practice of the award-winning companies. These show how innovative approaches can strengthen an employee-friendly corporate culture.
This year's award winners also shared their impressions. The Magdeburg Education Centre, which received the award for the fourth time, summed it up aptly in a post on Instagram: "Good work must also feel like good work - in a peaceful, free Saxony-Anhalt where we shape the future together."

We would like to congratulate all the award winners on this outstanding achievement and thank everyone involved for an inspiring evening! The MDR SACHSEN-ANHALT HEUTE television report from 24 April also provides an insight into the event in the media library (from minute 7:23 to 10:35).
