On April 24, 2025, it’s that time again: 34 companies from Saxony-Anhalt will be honored for their employee-focused corporate culture and will receive the state seal of approval “Employee-Focused Company – I Feel at Home Here.” The awards ceremony will take place at the Golfpark Dessau event center, where Minister Petra Grimm-Benne will present the awards together with the state initiative “Fachkraft im Fokus.” A special highlight of the evening: the premiere of three videos offering exciting insights into the practical implementation of “Good Work.”
Wertenetz®: A Success Model for Employers and Employees
Since the introduction of the Wertenetz® process in 2018, 317 companies in Saxony-Anhalt have already participated. The goal is to analyze the values of employees and managers and compare them with the reality within the company. The results are impressive: nearly 60 percent of participating companies have received the state seal. The initiative is particularly proud that some companies have been recertified multiple times—clear proof of the program’s lasting impact.
Care companies show how it’s done
A look at this year’s award winners shows that Saxony-Anhalt’s care sector is strongly represented. Of the 34 companies honored, ten are from the care sector. This means the sector accounts for about one-seventh of all previous seal recipients. A strong sign that attractive working conditions can be created even in challenging fields.
