Our online forum for newcomers and returnees on June 17, 2024 was a resounding success! Returnees and newcomers from all over Germany and even from Switzerland, Italy, and Ukraine gathered virtually to exchange experiences and share valuable tips for living and working in Saxony-Anhalt.
Highlights of the event:
- Exchange of experiences: Our participants reported on their reasons for moving to Saxony-Anhalt. These included proximity to family, attractive jobs, and studying.
- Networking: The forum also offered the opportunity to get to know each other and network.
- Challenges: Topics such as obtaining visas, building a network, and dealing with authorities were discussed in depth.
- Support: We presented our services, including our welcoming culture, family-friendliness, and special advisory services offered by the WelcomeCenter and the skilled worker advisory service.
We were particularly pleased about the participation of returnees from federal states such as Baden-Württemberg and Hesse, as well as newcomers from abroad.
