Last week, the Saxony-Anhalt state initiative "Focus on Skilled Workers" awarded two companies from Stendal with the state seal
"Employee-oriented company – I feel at home here":
the Springberg nursing home and the Stendal social services center.
Both institutions are managed by Ms. Ines Dehmel, managing partner, who accepted the awards on their behalf. The double award of the state seal highlights how important an appreciative corporate culture is for attracting and retaining skilled workers in the care and social sectors.
Employee orientation as a success factor for skilled workers
The presentation of the state seal took place deliberately during the working day:
at the Springberg nursing home during the lunch break together with employees and residents, and at the Stendal social services center as part of a team consultation. This clearly focused attention on the people who contribute to the success of the facilities on a daily basis.
Both events were attended by the mayor of the Hanseatic city of Stendal, who emphasized the importance of good working conditions for securingskilled workers in Saxony-Anhalt.
Award based on an employee survey
The state seal is based on a structured employee survey using the Wertenetz© (value network), which examines the extent to which corporate values correspond to the needs of employees. The results show that

Visibility for good companies in Saxony-Anhalt
With these two awards, the institutions are among the more than 150 award-winning companies in Saxony-Anhalt that are considered positive examples of an employee-oriented corporate culture. A total of more than 360 companies have already participated in the Wertenetz© survey.
The Saxony-Anhalt state initiative "Fachkraft im Fokus" (Focus on Skilled Workers) supports companies in making their employer quality visible and thus attracting and retaining skilled workers for Saxony-Anhalt.
