The BBA is certified in accordance with the law on employment promotion (AZAV) and offers numerous training and further education courses in the commercial, industrial and care sectors. In addition, the extensive range is supplemented by activation and coaching measures, vocational orientation measures, the learning center and the driving school.

We attach great importance to promoting, supporting and accompanying our customers. A team of over 50 experienced educational staff, trainers and coaches are on hand to support customers on their path to (re)orientation in their careers.

For us, "good work" means that everyone can do their job with pleasure, motivation and prospects - and this is exactly what we actively implement in our company.

The "Altmark" Vocational Training Academy attaches great importance to an appreciative and supportive corporate culture. Our employees are at the heart of our success, which is why we rely on open communication (e.g. Microsoft teams, collaborative working), flat hierarchies and individual support. Through regular feedback meetings, further training opportunities and a strong team culture, we create an environment in which our employees feel comfortable and can develop both professionally and personally. We have a professional onboarding process and offer flexible working hours and home office wherever possible. The introduction of the company health promotion scheme "Health with a system" with a points system has been very well received by employees. For example, we also offer lectures on health, yoga courses, self-defense courses and stress management seminars during working hours. Other benefits include a company pension scheme, company bike leasing, a weekly fruit basket, monthly benefits in kind, a recreational allowance, "birthday children are lunch children" and, of course, employee days and company parties for team building. For us, "good work" means not only creating professional conditions, but also promoting the personal and professional development of our employees. As managing director of another company, Privatschulen "Altmark" gGmbH, an independent provider of the "Altmark" bilingual elementary school in Stendal, I also received the state seal of approval in 2020. That was the motivation for me to also introduce many things in terms of employee orientation at BBA "Altmark" in order to also be an attractive employer in the area of labor market services.

We are investing a lot of work and financial resources in digitalization and workplace health promotion. The "Altmark" vocational training academy will continue to focus on attracting, retaining and developing qualified specialists. Promoting the further training of our employees and increasing the company's attractiveness as an employer are particularly important to us. We are also increasingly focusing on digitalization in order to establish modern learning and working methods and make our training opportunities even more flexible.

What specific measures are planned?

We are investing more in targeted training measures for our employees to make them fit for future challenges.

More attractive working conditions: We are focusing on expanding workplace health promotion, flexible working hours, home office options and modern workplaces in order to improve the work-life balance.

Employer branding and recruiting strategies: We will continue to strengthen our employer brand in order to be perceived as an attractive employer in the region.

Digitalization and innovation: The integration of new technologies into our educational offerings should further increase efficiency and quality. (e.g. Blink.it, Copliot, ChatGPT)

With these measures, we want to ensure that our company remains an attractive employer in the long term and at the same time makes a valuable contribution to securing skilled workers in the region.
