The Bildungszentrum für Beruf und Wirtschaft e.V. has been a successful and regionally anchored educational service provider in Lutherstadt Wittenberg since 1993, which is particularly committed to practical and participant-oriented education in the region. We offer up-to-date and needs-based expertise with individual advice, extensive training and further education opportunities and recognized chamber qualifications. Our training areas range from metal technology, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, warehouse logistics, economics and human resources, finance and law, quality management, social and health issues to IT training and education.
We promote dialog and mutual understanding among employees, provide encouragement, offer constructive criticism and use this for a continuous improvement process. The multi-layered process of structural change at BBW is accompanied by our internal communication and information (upwards and downwards) as well as transparent management behavior and consideration of staff welfare concerns.
We are taking an innovative approach with new, modern buildings, workshops and seminar rooms. We pursue a sustainable overall orientation of the training center and create the framework conditions for our employees to balance their professional and private lives, taking into account the life situations of all employees with their different interests and valuing their individual differences.
We promote a positive overall atmosphere.
Mutual respect, recognition of performance, a willingness to engage in objective discussions and efforts to reach a consensus ensure productive work and a high level of employee satisfaction.
We also offer regular training opportunities for employees.
When we learned about the successful implementation of the survey in another company, it also gave us the motivation to analyze our internal improvement potential and initiate change processes. We also wanted to further intensify our efforts to secure skilled workers and live the values of an employee-oriented company both internally and externally.
We want to continue to promote digitalization in the company. For example, as part of Training 4.0 through modern, digital equipment, a learning platform for trainees, the installation of an e-charging station using renewable energy from our photovoltaic system and the introduction of a digital salary statement.
We also attach great importance to actively promoting employee qualifications, strengthening internal communication through the targeted involvement of coordinators as intermediaries and close cooperation with the newly elected works council.
We have already purchased new office equipment and modern office technology to ensure that workplaces remain ergonomic. Our employees receive targeted training opportunities and thus the possibility of new fields of activity in the course of fair remuneration (high motivation and willingness to perform). We also contribute to health promotion by providing a weekly vitamin and surprise basket at the workplace and promote commitment through targeted structuring of the company structure as part of our QM system.
