The press release from the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health and Equal Opportunities explains that the content of further training courses ranges from short-term measures to multi-year further training courses and can be tailored to specific further training needs. For example, language courses, commercial and industrial-technical training measures as well as further training measures to support digital and ecological change, personnel and organisational development or company co-determination can be funded.
Labour Minister Petra Grimm-Benne said: "Training is no longer enough to cover the entire working life. Further training is essential in order to respond to changes in the world of work. Every cent of our further training funding is therefore an investment in the future viability of our country. We give employees and companies the opportunity to improve their qualifications and respond to the increasing demands of working life. Only with bright minds can we take another step forward in the competition for skilled labour."
