The press release from the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health, and Equality explains that the continuing education content ranges from short-term measures to multi-year continuing education courses and can be tailored to specific continuing education needs. For example, language courses, commercial and industrial-technical training measures, as well as continuing education measures to support digital and ecological change, personnel and organizational development, or co-determination in the workplace can be funded.
Labor Minister Petra Grimm-Benne said: "Training is no longer sufficient to cover the entire working life. Further training is essential in order to respond to changes in the world of work. Every cent of our further training funding is therefore an investment in the future viability of our state. We are giving employees and companies the opportunity to improve their qualifications and respond to the increasing demands of working life. Only with bright minds can we take another step forward in the competition for skilled workers."
