For years, hospitals and long-term care facilities have been facing a clear shortage of staff, a situation that is becoming increasingly acute. By 2035, nearly 1.8 million job openings will remain unfilled due to a lack of qualified personnel.

For various reasons, the demand for well-trained nursing staff in Germany cannot be fully met in the coming years, neither through training programs nor through the immigration of European skilled workers. Therefore, recruiting nursing staff from so-called third countries is becoming increasingly important.

This makes it all the more important that companies in the health and care sectors receive support and guidance on potential avenues for recruiting skilled workers from third countries. That is why the WelcomeCenter Saxony-Anhalt is hosting a corporate workshop:

Exchange of Experiences for Companies: Recruiting Skilled Workers from Non-EU Countries in the Care Sector

on August 29, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to12:00 p.m.

at the Magdeburg Regional Advisory Center, Skilled Workers in Focus
, Werner-Heisenberg-Straße 1
, 39106 Magdeburg

The event aims to provide you with concrete support for your next steps in recruiting skilled workers from non-EU countries and to address your specific questions.

Registration is via this registration form. The number of participants is limited to 8 spots, with one company representative per spot, and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you have any questions about the event, please feel free to contact us at wcst(at)f-bb(dot)de.
